Lip Fillers
Lip filler is art.
Whether you want to enhance the cupid's bow, volumise the lips, so they don't disappear when you smile or softly smooth smokers' lines without adding volume, lip fillers are a powerful way to rejuvenate the face.
Everyone's lip anatomy is slightly different, so we always focus on enhancing the lips in a highly natural way, not to distort the natural shape but to enhance them whilst always respecting the natural anatomy.
How does it work?
The appointment begins with a thorough consultation and assessment of the lips to deem whether you are suitable for lip filler. The consultation and the treatment will be performed by Dr Arun.
Your lips will be assessed during the consultation, and we will discuss your desired outcome.
An anaesthetic cream is applied to make the experience as painless as possible. The lips are then treated using dermal fillers. They are placed in a specific way to give them a beautiful shape and definition.
The results from lip fillers are instant. However, they can swell for 2 - 3 days and then settle. You may have very minimal inflammation for around 2-weeks. During this time, the filler is blending and integrating into your tissue. The final result will be at the 2-week mark.
This treatment can be performed alongside many of our other treatments such as cheek filler, chin and jawline filler and nose filler in our beautification package to enhance the v-shaped feminine face.

No lip fillers are not permanent. We use hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, which can be reversed anytime.

In our experience, 0.5ml of filler is usually enough to create stunning and natural results and prevent the lip from appearing overfilled. However, for some clients, 1ml can be appropriate. During the consultation, we can assess the lips in detail and advise on the appropriate volume to use in each circumstance.

Absolutely not. At Karwal Aesthetics, we focus on natural enhancements and never aim to create fake-looking results. There are two main reasons why lip filler can begin to look unnatural, and these are due to 1) overfilling and 2) migration of product. In most instances, 0.5ml of product is enough to create stunning results without causing any migration or an overly full appearance. Some people with naturally larger lips can tolerate 1ml. We advise not to have more than 1ml of lip filler per year, reducing migration likelihood. Migration can cause a slight ledge to form above the lip, which leads to the classic "duck lips". The injection technique is also crucial, and we use the best techniques to respect your lip's natural anatomy to achieve beautiful results.
